Sneak peek.... Mr. G, 5 days old

all of these perfect newborns are not really helping my husband's argument to not have any more babies. i come home all gooey and happy, gushing about these perfect little beings. i think i'll have to bring him with me to a newborn shoot one time, maybe then i can get him on my side. this little guy was just the sweetest... not one peep (or pee, thanks buddy!) the whole time. i probably could have stayed there all day but i didn't want to push my luck and have him hate me for his 6 month photo shoot... geez, can you imagine how cute he's going to be then with all that great hair???
mama, as usual, looked flippin' awesome and once again i couldn't bring myself to hate her because she's happens to also be nice and fun and all together un-hateable. geez, some people have it all...

Sneak peek... Jen, maternity

when a family of 3 is becoming a family of 4, the maternity session might be one of the last times for the older sibling to be the only star of the show. i tried to include big sister a lot today and give her lots of attention... and a couple special treats, as well. :) i know mom and dad will be great at finding special time for both of their princessess once baby girl #2 arrives within a couple of weeks.

i had such a nice time with this family today... i joked with mama that i'll be asking her if they need photos all the time because i was treated so well. coffee and baked goods upon my arrival and pizza for lunch?? i didn't want to go home! :) thanks for being such a great hostess... looking forward to meeting miss M soon!i think if you can still see your toes, you're doing alright. :)

As a photographer, when you walk in the client's door and see a soon-to-be-mama that looks like THIS...


... you just have to do a little happy dance. :) i really would have had to work hard to mess this one up. the real kicker is that as smokin' hot as she is, she's equally as nice and sweet so i couldn't hate her for very long.

I was also able to include dad (haha), doggie stella and their adorable niece!

It was so great to finally meet you all and I'm looking forward to meeting your little prince in November!

the soon to be parents are both soccer players, so we had to incorporate a bit of a soccer theme into their maternity session. is it totally inappropriate that when i was looking at these photos i kept thinking, "he shoots... he scores!!"... ummm... yes, sorry, moving on...

the mommy to be is a good friend of mine and i'm just thrilled to bits to see her so happy and excited about starting their family. she is going to be an incredible mom and i can't wait to meet her little princess!

gosh, i just love maternity sessions... subjects that actually listen to direction (unlike a toddler), they hold still and smile on cue?? it's like a vacation. thanks for hanging with me for a little while today... i can't wait to hear what you ended up having. i'm leaning towards boy but we all know how good my guessing record is. ;)

i don't have a sister so the way sisters interact is very new and interesting to me. they nitpick each other over little goofy things but have this amazing bond that is like no other. i had such a great time with these sisters today and i can't wait to meet their little ones. the soon to be cousins will be best of friends, i'm just sure of it.
